Mid-century architecture emerged from a belief that domestic life could be both open and connected to its surroundings. This project revisits those ambitions, not as an exercise in nostalgia, but as a framework for contemporary living. Rather than replicating familiar forms, the design extracts their underlying principles and reinterprets them for the needs of a modern family.

At the heart of the project is a plan that is deeply connected yet carefully composed. Spaces flow into one another, encouraging interaction and shared experience, while changes in volume, proportion, and light create moments of intimacy. The result is a home that carries forward the warmth and optimism of mid-century architecture while responding to the realities of contemporary family life.
